Dr. Ioannis Doulgerakis is an Obstetrician–Gynecologist with professional experience in Greece and Sweden. He graduated from the English-taught Medical School of Comenius University and began his clinical career at the Surgical Department of Nikaia General State Hospital.

He then continued his training in Sweden at Linköping University Hospital. He completed his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Centralsjukhuset Karlstad, as well as at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, which is ranked 1st in Europe and 5th worldwide.

After completing his specialty training, he worked as a consultant physician in Sweden, gaining extensive experience in the management of low- and high-risk pregnancies, gynecological surgical procedures with a focus on laparoscopic and robotic surgery, colposcopy, and the treatment of complex cases such as reproductive gynecology and endometriosis.

During his specialty training, he was responsible for supervising medical students and actively participated in their education in the Gynecology Department. He also served as head of the Emergency Gynecology Unit, ensuring smooth operation and prompt patient care.

In his medical practice, he places particular emphasis on personalized care and on building a relationship of trust with each patient, aiming to ensure a full understanding of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

During his training and continuous professional development, he participated in specialized seminars and obtained certifications, including:

• Ultrasound in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Malmö University Hospital.
• Cervical diseases and colposcopy at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm.

• High-risk pregnancy in Linköping.
• Gynaecological Endocrinology and Infertility at Uppsala University.
• Gynaecological cancer, prevention and treatment at Malmö University.
