Ioannis Doulgerakis
Obstetrician - Surgeon - Gynaecologist
Dr. Ioannis Doulgerakis is an Obstetrician–Gynecologist with professional experience in Greece and Sweden. He graduated from the English-taught Medical School of Comenius University and began his clinical career at the Surgical Department of Nikaia General State Hospital.
He then continued his training in Sweden at Linköping University Hospital. He completed his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Centralsjukhuset Karlstad, as well as at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, which is ranked 1st in Europe and 5th worldwide.
Μετά την ολοκλήρωση της ειδίκευσής του, εργάστηκε ως επιμελητής στη Σουηδία, αποκτώντας εκτενή εμπειρία στην παρακολούθηση εγκύων χαμηλού και υψηλού κινδύνου, τις γυναικολογικές χειρουργικές επεμβάσεις με έμφαση στη λαπαροσκοπική και ρομποτική χειρουργική, την κολποσκόπηση και την αντιμετώπιση σύνθετων περιστατικών, όπως γυναικολογική αναπαραγωγικότητα και ενδομητρίωση.
During his specialty training, he was responsible for supervising medical students and actively participated in their education in the Gynecology Department. He also served as head of the Emergency Gynecology Unit, ensuring smooth operation and prompt patient care.
In his medical practice, he places particular emphasis on personalized care and on building a relationship of trust with each patient, aiming to ensure a full understanding of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
At his medical office in Glyfada, within the PPC premises, the specialist Obstetrician–Gynecologist provides modern, evidence-based, and patient-centered gynecological and obstetric care, including colposcopy, covering a wide range of services for women’s health and pregnancy care.
